The Sanford Galleon is a 4,000 square foot event venue overlooking Lake Monroe, featuring a 70-foot wall of floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning water views from a climate-controlled space. It boasts unique architectural elements like circular zones, a tongue-and-groove cedar wood ceiling, and wooden beam chandeliers, all within a nautical theme with pirates, mermaids, and galleon ships in shades of blue, grey, and brown. The venue includes a full bar, changing room, and a separate conference room. Completely remodeled in 2024, it offers a beautifully themed décor.

The Galleon really understood the assignment! The comedy show was hilarious, the vibe was right, and the staff made sure everyone was having a good time. Definitely one of my new favorite spots and I'll be back for sure!
Had a great time at the comedy show at the Sanford Galleon! The vibe was just right, good crowd, good laughs, and a beautiful setting by the water. Spunky Robinson was hilarious, and the whole setup made for a fun and laid-back night. I came out with my husband and 2 adult children and we laughed all night. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're looking for something different to do in Sanford. I'll be back for sure!
If you are looking for event space, this place is it. Great communication from the management. The staff made planning efforts super easy and the food was great. The view looking at Lake Monroe are stunning. Free parking and tons of space for all of our guests. We will be back!!!
I just wanted to say thank you to Michelle and all her staff for making my daughter's quinceanera very special.We all have a lots of fun and a good time. I recommend this venue for quinceanera and other occasions too.
we rented this event space recently for a baby shower. The staff was communicative and accommodating Michelle was extremely accommodating and the staff just incredible I would absolutely recommend
