Certainly the best Chinese/Taiwanese food I've had in awhile. The spring roll was the best spring roll I've ever had. The sauteed green beans with chicken dish was amazing! Those flavors are addictive. These were also the best green beans I've ever had. The beef stew with noodle soup was excellent. It reminded me of pho, but it was different (in a good way). I would absolutely drink this soup broth up with a straw. My wife said the fried rice was very authentic to what she ate while living in China. Even the scallion pancake, which are often quite simple in the States, had great flavor and texture. Every single item we ordered had great flavor. The servers were super polite and attentive. The prices of the food were very fair (especially considering the size and quality). The only things that brought us back to earth were the taste of the tap water and the booth seats being a bit too far away from the table. However, these are super forgiveable, and we were beyond pleased with eating dinner here. We intend to return here as often as possible 😁
Absolutely amazing experience. Fresh and hot food. Really good orange chicken and chicken fried rice. Not overly salty. Everything was 10/10
The restaurant is an older center in Winter Springs just past Moss Road so we were not expecting it to be so bright and modern and clean inside. They have big comfortable booths, a couple of 4 top tables and one large picnic style table that would be good for a group of about 8 people. The food was wonderful and fresh with some options for Taiwanese dishes and all of the typical Americanized Chinese options as well. We had a mix of both and everything was great. The owner was very kind and said they have been open for about a month and a half.
Started with the Scallion Pancakes and an order of edamame - both excellent! Edamame was especially good as it wasn’t mostly salt! Mongolian Beef was excellent with just a little bit of spice. Happy Family was very good as well! Haven’t had anything we didn’t like at Taiwan Cafe (after 6 visits).
Discovered this place on a whim and the food was good as hell. Probably the best Chinese food in town, way better than yummy house. I tried two chicken dishes and the scallion pancake. All were great. Fried rice was delicious too. I will definitely be back and will try more of their dishes
