Your crews were very professional. There were some problems
1) The main electrical connection from the generator to the electric panel was not done the way it was explained to me on the quote. Consequently there is an ugly pipe up the side of my house and the connection to the generator which was supposed to be underground is 3 feet above ground. They said they were afraid of water lines nearby. Why didn't the salesman tell me that.
2) The installation failed the inspection
3) An appointment was made to correct all of the issues the inspector identified. The day the tech arrived he said he was here to finish the installation. He called the office and got the correct reason for the appointment.
The bottom line for me is that the install was very different from the original plan which resulted in an ugly final product.
4) There were delays due to sickness and an error from the office. After that we were put back in the queue instead of getting priority service. Another delay.
That's all I can remember. I was disappointed with the process and felt like the final product was the result of convenience for Genstar not me. We are now waiting for another inspection and finally testing the generator and instructions from your technician. I'm holding my breath concerned about how much longer until we are up and running.

We purchased a new house generator and the team that removed the old one and installed the new one were very nice and professional. They did not mess up any part of the yard. The team that setup the electrical part of the generator were also very nice and professional. They explained how the generator operators and showed how to do a whole house test prior to a storm. The office staff were professional and kind also.

Techs showed up on time as scheduled, performed the repairs promptly, and ran post-repair checks to confirm the generator was back to running properly. Each step was explained in plain English so I could understand what was being done. I have and will continue to recommend GenStar. 100% satisfied.

I highly recommend GenStar. They have very good service and are responsive to needs. They have knowledgeable and skilled maintenance/repair technicians. Most importantly, they are honest. Most customers do not know the intricacies or mechanics of a generator. Another company had told us we needed a new board (quoted at $3600) or a new generator. GenStar replaced the battery and starter, which fixed the problem. They literally saved us thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. We will certainly contract with them for future service.

The first time when we call, a guy just dumped us by saying they will come few day without asking our information. We waited for a week then called back. A sweet lady answer the phone and she take care of us very professionally. Then email and phone text communication was excellent. The technician was very nice and professional. This has change my mind to give a five star review instead. but I had to mention that why let a bad apple who destroyed your customer service while other is trying hard to do their job.
