First time trying Chilangos, and I will definitely be back! Stopped in just for a quick bite and tried their ground beef taco, shredded chicken taco, and birria taco... all were amazing, and I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu

I went here after a men's group with a bunch of hungry guys and man am I happy I did. Not only was the food great but the service was awesome also. The portions were big, the food quality was on point, and since I was paying for dinner that night I appreciated the good prices as well. I like to try all the Mexican restaurants I can and this was authentic, flavorful, and overall really good. I will be going back and will be bringing my friends again as well...Actually, as I am writing this review I am getting hungry thinking about it...I'm going to call and order lunch for my staff today, great job Chilangos.

It may not be terrible, but the food is completely different now than it was before. I'm assuming the management is new because I remember the restaurant being unavailable on food apps for a while and coming back with a different style and different items.
It's a shame that new people trying the restaurant will not get to experience the authentic and hand-made taste of the old Chilangos. Now the tortillas taste like nothing special, the Mexican rice is too fluffy, the American tacos seem quickly made and cheap, and the guacamole lacks the flavor and zest that it used to.
I could understand the big change in ingredients more if they were going to keep the food as inexpensive as it used to be and just switch to cheaper ingredients--but sadly the prices went higher AND the quality and originality tanked. Don't get me wrong it doesn't taste BAD--just like what you'd get at any chain or fast-casual Mexican restaurant. I feel like they should have renamed the restaurant entirely because I'd gotten my hopes up for Chilangos to come back, only to realize it isn't actually the Chilangos we all knew and loved.

Saw the Facebook ad and decided to try. I was looking at the menu not sure what to get and the owner came over and started helping me decide.
I decided on the steak sandwich and WOW! Great choice. Very flavorful and perfect portion. Ad the hot sauce and boom!
The owner was very polite and helpful, the girl at the register was also polite. The food was fantastic and I didn’t feel like I paid too much
