About us
I am a third-generation food service person. My grandfather came from Italy wayback in the day and when he sailed into New York Harbor he saw the Statue of Liberty. He was so overjoyed to finally be here in America that he opened a bakery in New Jersey and called it Liberty Bakery and had a picture of the Statue of Liberty in his window.
All of our food is scratch made and all of our smoked foods are smoked on wood burning smokers using only wood, fire, smoke and meats or non-meats… no gas ovens with a little piece of wood to get some smoke flavor, it’s all old school.
Then our baked goods like pies and cakes are hand made and are really phenomenal to say the least… just awesome.
We started our smoked meats journey in 2016 doing festivals and some catering then we built a food trailer and that was awesome and now THANK THE LORD we are in this amazing building and location.

After a long day of trail walking our group was craving something delicious and comforting at the same time and we definitely found both at Briskets BBQ Shack and Grill. We were greeted by genuine smiles and friendly “hello’s”. From the appetizing menu at the entrance to the wonderful BBQ aroma inside, we couldn’t wait to try the mouth-watering food items. I had the brisket with the absolutely delicious cornbread. Others in my group had the BBQ ribs with the delicious country beans and the pulled pork with the smoked mac and cheese. The brisket was perfectly seasoned and well cooked and the ribs were juicy and very tender. The beans are original in style and flavor, very well made. My only critique is the smoked mac and cheese; while well made and delicious, it lacked the smoky flavor I was expecting. Overall however, the food and service both are worthy of five stars and will definitely be back to try other menu items the next time I am in Orlando. Excellent job!!
I really enjoyed the sides at this establishment. The smoky Mac and cheese was really good. It was a flavor I’ve never tasted before in mac and cheese. It actually tasted smoky. The cornbread casserole was very good. The loaded potatoes reminded me of twice baked mash potatoes. My family and I had a peanut butter pie and a coconut cream pie. They both were tasty, piled high with whipped cream, and cold. I liked that they were cold. The atmosphere was warm with picnic tables and the classic red and white squares. There is no indoor seating, just outdoor. Parking is limited. And they serve food until close or sell out. We enjoyed speaking to Troy. He was very kind, he believes in the taste of the food that he sells, and you can tell that he cares.
My sister recommended this place to me. She told me to get the Mac and cheese bowl and I did. Best decision ever. You’re telling me I got 32 ounces of Mac and cheese with the most tender brisket and 3 extra tasty sides for $12…yeah I never admit she’s right but with this one I HAD to. I have food for days. The other sides looked awesome, It took me forever to decide which 3 to get today. But I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu items when I go back . Very kind workers and speedy service ! Loved it all :)
I had the opportunity to meet one of the chefs here at another business. He mentioned that he made some of the best brisket in Orlando. Naturally, I had to test his theory for truthfulness. I can say that I was not disappointed! We tried the Brisket, Burnt Ends, Macaroni, Loaded Potatoes, Fire Roasted Corn, and Corn Bread Casserole. Also, we went back for Peanut Butter Pie and Coconut Cream Pie. Are you getting the picture? I honestly can't remember the last time I ate somewhere and was pleased to overjoyed with literally everything I tasted. The burnt ends fell apart on my fork, the macaroni was smokey, the brisket was on point... this place is so good! Huge shout out to Troy and the team for providing a warm environment and delicious food. Don't change a thing. We'll be back, and in the meantime we'll send our friends and family!
My family and I recently visited Briskets BBQ shack & grill a local BBQ spot and had a great experience! The meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in our mouth with every bite. The outdoor seating added a wonderful touch, making the meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for great BBQ and a great atmosphere, this place is a must.
