This is what I call a hidden gem!! This review I’m writing with mixed emotions. The place is behind an ice cream shop, so people might even not know about it. Addobbo still not busy, and as a Sanford resident, I like to encourage you to go try that place and write them a review so they may stay in business and we continue to enjoy eating authentic Italian pizza.
If you're craving an authentic Italian pizza experience without the need for a passport, look no further than Addobbo Wood-Fired Pizza. This hidden gem brings the rich flavors of Italy right to our neighborhood, and let me tell you, it’s a culinary journey worth taking!
From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The seating area is not only cozy but also pet-friendly, which is a delightful bonus for dog owners looking to enjoy a meal with their furry friends by their side.
Each bite of their Pizza transports you to the charming streets of Italy, thanks to the use of imported flour and olive oil directly sourced from the heart of the country. The crust is perfectly charred, showcasing that signature wood-fired flavor that is incredibly hard to replicate. The toppings are fresh and vibrant, making every slice a delicious masterpiece.
Addobbo Wood-Fired Pizza is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food in a welcoming environment. With its delicious, authentic flavors and pet-friendly seating, it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special outing. Trust me; you’ll leave with a full stomach and a satisfied palate, dreaming of your next visit!

Can’t stop thinking about the pizza we had at Addobbo. We stopped in for dinner and didn’t know pizza of this caliber was in Downtown Sanford.
We ordered a burrata salad which was delicious. The Arugula was fresh and crisp, and the balsamic drizzled on top added the perfect sweetness to the pesto dressed salad.
My favorite was the four meat pizza, but the margarita was great as well. The meat pizza had a strong flavor of bacon (which I loved), and a nice salty bite from pepperoni. The crust was crispy and the grease from the meat was perfect for dipping the crust. The sauce on the Margarita was very sweet.
Can’t wait for my next visit to try more pizzas.

Excellent Neapolitan pizza dough made with Italian ingredients. The dough was fantastic, soft and chewy. Generous with toppings and fired it so well, I really loved the crisp edges on the very tasty pepperoni! This is now our go to, what a gift to Sanford! The outdoor patio is a delight! A sunny afternoon, umbrellas and beautiful trees surround. Cannot wait to return!

Wife and I were wondering what new to try for lunch today and we found this delightful tasty spot. Hidden in back of the ice cream shop, this pizza joint hit the spot. We ordered the 12 inch pepperoni and split it between each other. The pizza was amazing. There's nothing like a fresh made pizza in a wood burning pizza oven. The seating inside is limited, but there's seating outsode in the back. This will probably be our go to pizza place from now on when we want some good quality pizza.

Not only is the pizza amazing, the staff couldn't be any friendlier. My wife and I take our granddaughter every Friday. The owners always come and talk to us, and they talk to everyone that comes in. It's a very family friendly environment, we haven't had pizza this good in a very long time. If you haven't gone yet then you don't know what your missing.
