We recently visited the Lukas Nursery and Butterfly Encounter, and what a treat it was! The plant nursery is huge, with never-ending varieties of plants and flowers. We went specifically to experience the butterfly habitat, and I absolutely loved it! I would've stayed longer had it not been so hot and humid. The cost is only $9 per adult, and they off and annual pass for $25. These are both a steal, especially for the large variety of butterfly species in the habitat. I especially loved the small enclosure which housed all of the Painted Lady butterflies! It was nice to see Giant Tiger Swallowtails, and many Monarchs, including mating pairs. I saw Peacock butterflies, Gulf Fritillaries, and others I had never seen before. The staff was very pleasant and professional, and they took the time to talk with us. The gift shop was also outstanding, providing so many different items for sale. I live out of state, though I look forward to visiting again. Maybe your new building will be constructed by then, which is something to look forward to. Thank you! 🦋
What a great experience from the beginning. First trip to Lucas and it was a candy shop for me. Spent a few hours looking and still have more exploring to do later. Found the perfect tree and a few plants and left happy. Glad I let JJ, Raul and Chris deliver and plant my new tree. They were on time, very friendly and did a great job. They really are the Dream Team! After educating me to ensure years of enjoyment they were off to make the next customers dreams come to life. Thanks so much Lucas for helping me finish a project I have been working on for a long time now.
Francisco and JJ were so professional and careful when planting my yucca rostrata. It was a big 2 hour job, and I was SO PLEASED with the job they did. Great communicators and workers!! Worth every penny to have them plant my 100 gallon yucca❤️
I cannot say enough good things about Lukas Nursery! The knowledge here is top-notch, and the overall service and care are absolutely outstanding. A massive shoutout to the delivery and installation team who ROCKED today! Francisco and Raul were incredible—they expertly guided me on the ideal planting situations for my new additions. And a special mention to JJ; I can't believe it was only his second day! He was an unbelievable help with moving the trees, spacing everything out perfectly, and getting them planted. 5-stars all around! Lukas Nursery is the GO-TO place for all things Plants, Butterflies, and Trees! No other nursery in Orlando offers such an experience like Lukas Nursery. FANTASTIC variety of things to shop for including rare plants, cactus, and roses! Koi Fish pond, bamboo trail, Butterfly exhibit (very impressive), rare plant shade house, tropical plant shade house, cactus garden, chicken coops and donkeys on property! Not to mention shopping for the largest selection of Native, Butterfly, and flowering shrubs in Orlando. If you have a Bucket list Plant that you’ve been searching for, Lukas Nursery has it!
