So Amazing!!! I just thought I was gonna get a basic Empanada/ Pastelillos, but it was huge and packed with meat and straight from the fryer, I tried beef, shrimp, and chicken and with how much shrimp was in there was Amazing!!! And for $3.00 what a meal
La Familia Latín Food is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Latin family food. From the moment we walked in, the experience was fantastic. The customer service was truly outstanding. Jacob was friendly, attentive, welcoming, helpful with recommendations making us feel right at home. It’s clear they take pride in their work and want every diner to have a great time—it really elevated the whole meal. And the food was absolutely delicious! This is the kind of heartwarming, authentic Puerto Rican cooking you dream about. I highly recommend the empanadas, alcapurrias and the Mofongo. It was perfect, best I've ever had!!! The service was great and the food was fresh, cooked to order. The fried chicken might honestly be the best I’ve had in Orlando, perfectly seasoned all the way down to the bone, hot, and full of flavor with every bite. The plantains were sweet and perfectly cooked, and the rice complemented everything nicely. On top of that, one of their signature drinks was delicious as well. Highly recommend you try this place, definitely a 5 out of 5 experience.
I've been coming to the mall for many years. I've never eaten anything else except the teriyaki chicken and rice. But I will not eat anything else other than this amazing Puertorican Gem. I swear my grandma is cooking in the back. I vouch for this place 100 times over. Try it and you won't regret it
For the first time going here is a winner. We happened to be in the area shopping. I was looking for latin food and came across La Familia Latin Food inside the Oviedo Mall. We had the carne frita with arroz blanco and habichuelas and a drink. Very very good to our taste buds. Dishes from our island and it wasn't to expensive for a really good size meal. If you are in the area, stop by and give it a try whether you are a native from island or anywhere else, you will be disappointed.
