They took X-rays without providing any protective covering. I immediately felt dizzy and asked what the machine was for, but the staff offered no explanation. Patients undergoing procedures that require the use of X-ray radiation need to be given lead glasses. Even short exposure to radiation can severely damage the eyes. Now my eyes feel even more irritated. The wait time was terrible—I spent over two hours there, and it felt like a complete waste. The doctor is more of a salesman than a healthcare provider. All he does is push prescription glasses without genuinely addressing your needs. Once you put those glasses on, your eyes are done for. Think a hundred times before going through with it. And to top it off, he dilated my eyes and then the cashier asked me to sign paperwork while I could barely see. Be warned and stay away from this place, I really regret not going somewhere else.
I have shop at optical outlet for years. This has never happened to me before. I ordered some glasses. For far and near the warehouse they sent them too keeps sending them back with out fixing the prescription. I have seen 2 doctors 4 times total and I have come 6 times to get them. It been such a waist of time. The works at this location are nice and friendly. So are the doctors but come on. It was sending out again so we will see.
Three years ago, I left a five star review. Now we're down to one! Don't believe the promise of your glasses within 7-10 days. My son and I both purchased glasses, after our eye exam, in the Oviedo Mall location. My son received his within a week and I got notification mine were in also. That was incorrect. I was told by the man who helped me when we picked up his that he would check and call me. I never got a call. Then I checked the website only to see that they weren't even completed so I called the store. Oh, Anna said they're here. I was shocked because no call and no email letting the customer know so I proceed to go pick them up. Well I walked out without my 2 pairs of glasses. I tried them on and said these aren't right. I was told to give them a week to adjust. I've been wearing glasses for over 40 years I told her that I was seeing double and blurred letters. Anna then looks at my prescription and says there was a wrong entry regarding my prescription so I'll have to wait and not only wait but WAIT because the lab sent out an email that they are running about 2 weeks behind. At this point I'm contacting corporate even with a rush that leaves me still with an old prescription "trying" to see for however long. Unacceptable customer service!
Terrible service from the attendant who sold glasses not dr. She was claiming a progressive prescription would cost me an extra almost $400.00 when in the past I have never paid that amount. She was rude and just wanted to charge more. No wonder theyhave 3.7
Was there with my brother for 1 1/2 hour to get his glasses and one of the workers name Maria is so rude that she purposely crossed my brother so name off because the last t8me we were there she scratched his lens and said she didn't do it. But she we take pictures of everything for back up. Ever since that she treats us like we are not there. It's sad that she has a job but doesn't have the compassion to treat others with respect.
