If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Central Florida, D’Amico & Sons Italian Market & Bakery is truly a hidden gem. I’ve known this Italian bakery and specialty market for years, and it has remained one of my favorite spots in the Orlando/Oviedo area. The entire place feels completely Italian, from the products they sell to the warm atmosphere created by the family that owns and runs it. You can immediately feel the passion and authenticity the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely incredible. My personal favorites are the arancini and the sandwiches — honestly some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in Orlando. But everything here is delicious: the pizza, stromboli, and even their daily lunch specials are consistently amazing and made with incredible quality. Another thing that makes this place special is that so many of their products are directly imported from Italy, and you can truly taste the difference. The quality is always outstanding. And the desserts? Incredible. Whether you want a full birthday cake or just a small sweet treat, you really can’t go wrong with anything they make. Overall, this is easily one of the best places to eat in Oviedo if you appreciate authentic Italian food, quality ingredients, and a true family-owned atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Went to this spot for the first time on 03/17/26 ! I'm from Philly and I have been looking for a great Italian Bakery that is reminiscent of back home & this is definitely it! Being from up north I have been looking for a place that makes super fresh and filling Hoagies & I finally found it! Their food and pastries are super fresh and flavorful. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend D'Amico & Sons!
Wonderful sandwiches and bakery items. Very reasonably priced and a nice outdoor dining area that has a covered patio. Very high quality ingredients. The store can get busy, so be prepared. The store also carries some great specialty and prepared food items for an authentic Italian food experience.
Oh my goodness! STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO HERE NOW! This place is SO AMAZING! Everything here tastes so good even my kids loved it and asked to come back. This is not your normal bakery! This place is one in a billion! Like this place is my Ferraro’s (Little Italy, NY) but in Orlando, FL area! Cannoli, Napoleon, macaroons, rainbow chocolate cookies, and so much more!
Being an Italian from Brooklyn and living in St. Cloud, it's a bit tough finding ANYTHING Italian in our area. We were at the Altamonte mall and happened to go on Google maps and this place popped up. Well just had to check it out. So happy we did. Right away as we walked in picked up Italian bread, cream puffs, and sfoliatelle. Thought that was it...NOPE! Picked up pasta. Then saw they made pizza and rice balls. Ok. That's it...NOPE. Saw they had sausage rings. Ok. That's it , let's go.NOPE. We happen to see a wheat pie, iykyk,. Funny thing, we were just talking about them a few days ago since we would have it every Easter. OK,OK, that's it. Well. 80.00 later we walk out the door and end up eating the pizza in the car. Delicious! Couldn't wait to get home 50 minutes away!! As soon as we got home we opened the wheat pie and we split a slice. Well I went out to mow the lawn and my wife made sausage and peppers for dinner. As soon as I came in I could smell an amazing aroma. Well that was a great sandwich! As full as I was I just had to have dessert. The sfoliatelle was nicely crisp and the cream puff were both delicious. We have been down here a little over 10 years and this has been the closest to being back in Brooklyn. We thank you so much for being here.
