It was long overdue for my wife and I to come and try this place. The pizza we got (Bianca) was super good! Excited to come back and try some other specialty pizzas. The pizza had a nice crisp to it and was very flavorful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good brick oven pizza.

This is what I call a hidden gem!! This review I’m writing with mixed emotions. The place is behind an ice cream shop, so people might even not know about it. Addobbo still not busy, and as a Sanford resident, I like to encourage you to go try that place and write them a review so they may stay in business and we continue to enjoy eating authentic Italian pizza.

As Italians, we’re pretty picky when it comes to pizza, and Addobbo absolutely exceeded our expectations!
My husband had the Burrata pizza and I ordered the Capricciosa. Both were outstanding. The dough was light, perfectly fermented, and beautifully cooked in the wood-fired oven. The tomato sauce was one of the best parts fresh, well-balanced, and not overly sweet like you often find. You can really tell it was made with care and respect for traditional Italian flavors.
The restaurant is simple and casual. You order at the counter and pick up your food when it’s ready, which gives it a relaxed, fast-casual vibe, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
The owner, who is originally from the Philippines, was incredibly kind. When she realized we were from Italy, she told us she had trained in Naples to learn the art of authentic pizza making and it truly shows. Compliments to the pizza chef as well. Excellent work!
If you’re looking for real wood-fired pizza made with quality ingredients and genuine passion, Addobbo is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be back!

Can’t stop thinking about the pizza we had at Addobbo. We stopped in for dinner and didn’t know pizza of this caliber was in Downtown Sanford.
We ordered a burrata salad which was delicious. The Arugula was fresh and crisp, and the balsamic drizzled on top added the perfect sweetness to the pesto dressed salad.
My favorite was the four meat pizza, but the margarita was great as well. The meat pizza had a strong flavor of bacon (which I loved), and a nice salty bite from pepperoni. The crust was crispy and the grease from the meat was perfect for dipping the crust. The sauce on the Margarita was very sweet.
Can’t wait for my next visit to try more pizzas.
